Starting Karangahake Reserve, Native Bush clad gorge. Wandering through deserted Gold mines in the area. That Rabbit is being SHEARED ! - he did not look happy. On to Lake Taupo, bad weather ment we had to stay local - Some bungy jumping - Autumn was well established. Lot of Geothermal activity in this area also and chilled out in some hot springs. some hiking to "craters of the moon" full of mud pools, the smell was rank (sulphur)
